SAGA FLY TOURISTS HOME FROM EARTHQUAKE AREAS

Folkestone based holiday company Saga have arranged to fly holidaymakers home following the massive earthquake in South East Asia.

The tidal waves which followed engulfed many coastal areas of the Indian Ocean from Indonesia to Somalia in Africa.

Already one flight has arrived back with passengers who were staying in Sri Lanka and other tourists are ready to board planes to return to the UK, although some have decided to stay. It was reported on BBC Newsroom South East(28 December) that the company have so far been unable to contact two of the holidaymakers.

Saga have a team of people helping holidaymakers in Sri Lanka, and Phuket and Bankok in Thailand.
