ASB CRACKDOWN IN FOLKESTONE'S CLUBLAND

The ongoing police crackdown on anti-social behaviour in Shepway has today (14 December) been extended to include Folkestone's clubbing district.

Police Officers will now be able to move on people found causing intimidation, harassment or distress from Tontine Street and surrounding roads.

This is the sixth area of Shepway to have been made a designated dispersal area (DDA).

The legislation is already operating in Palmarsh, Hythe, Hawkinge, Blackbull Road Folkestone, Cheriton and Hythe and police report there has been a noticeable reduction in complaints from these areas.
