<FONT color=black>On Monday 1st December we held our annual Len Charles Cup Competition which is where members may show up to 15 slides, of any subject as long as the are connected, along with a commentary. Seven entries were shown and judged by our own members and it proved to be a difficult task in finding a winner.

Winner of the Trophy was:- Ian Stone –‘Tibet’

Other entries were received from :- Melanie Chalk -‘The American Garden’, Keith Radford – ‘Singapore’, Robert Brisley – ‘Slovenia’, David Hughes – ‘Greek Islands’, Vic Fowler - ‘Scotland’, Bill Grudgings – ‘Canada’

The December Practical evening will be held o­n Wednesday 3rd December. This is where members come along for a more informal evening to practice their practical skills.

Next Monday 8th December, we will be seeing an audio visual sent to us from Australia, along with some work by a long standing member of the club, Arthur Bailey, which will prove to be a very pleasant evening. The following Monday will be our Christmas Social where Denis Bridges (another long-standing member of the club) sets many members slides to music for a very informal and fun evening where a couple of games will also be arranged,. This along with food and drink brings in the Christmas spirit and a very friendly and enjoyable evening.

Meetings are held at the United Reformed Church Community Hall, Castle Hill Avenue.
